FedEx Appoints New Managing Director for Malaysian Operations in Asia Pacific
Lily Tay is promoted to Managing Director of FedEx Express Malaysia and Brunei
MALAYSIA, 25 July, 2003 - FedEx Express (FedEx), the world's largest
express transportation company, has appointed Lily Tay as the Managing
Director of FedEx Malaysia and Brunei, Asia Pacific.
In her new role, effective immediately, Ms. Tay will implement FedEx's
overall strategy in providing total supply chain solutions to enhance
the business processes of all companies we service, from small to
medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to multinational corporations.
Reporting directly to Mr. Peter Yin, Vice President of FedEx South Asia
Pacific, Ms. Tay has been charged with the responsibility of developing
and executing the corporate strategies and operations in Malaysia and
Brunei, which is part of the FedEx Asia Pacific Division. Ms. Tay will
be based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

With 10 years of experience at FedEx Express, Ms. Tay brings to the
position a strong customer service and operations background and an
extensive knowledge of Asia. Previously, she has served in several
customer-orientated management roles, and been recognised on numerous
occasions for her excellent service and commitment to FedEx customers.
