FedEx awarded with Superbrand status by the International Superbrand Council
BANGKOK, March 19, 2004 - FedEx Express (FedEx), the world's largest express transportation company, was recently awarded with "Superbrand" status by the independent Superbrands Council, reaffirming its status as one of the strongest brands and services in Thailand.
"FedEx is honoured to be named as a Superbrand, which underscores our service excellence and the commitment of our employees to delivering an impeccable and consistent experience for all our customers each and every time they come in contact with FedEx," said Clifton Chua, Managing Director, FedEx Express, Thailand, Philippines and Indochina.
FedEx was awarded with the Superbrand status following a selection process by consumers and the committee board, which consists of professionals from various industries including marketing, advertising and the media.
FedEx qualified as a Superbrand based on criteria including market dominance, longevity and evolution, trust in the organisation, customer loyalty and market acceptance which monitors the willingness of individuals to recommend the brand to others.

The Superbrands organisation was founded in London nearly a decade ago, and has since expanded its operations to seventeen countries worldwide including Asia, Europe and North America. In addition to the announcement of FedEx Thailand's success, FedEx was awarded with "Superbrand" status in 2004 in Hong Kong, Malaysia, Taiwan, the Philippines and Singapore.
