On June 28th, 2004, FedEx Express will
resume its inbound service to Syria, except from the U.S. Please note
that FedEx Express is no longer allowed to transport to Syria any
shipment that contains any U.S. origin items or any items of non-U.S.
manufacturer with more than 10 percent U.S. origin content.
Shippers wishing to send a shipment to Syria must complete and sign
Syria Shipping Certificate along with other required documents. The
form is available for download. (You will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader).
Shipments submitted without the Syria Shipping Certificate will be held
at a FedEx location until the shipper provides a completed and signed
copy of the certificate. If FedEx Express cannot contact the shipper
after multiple attempts, the shipment will be returned to the shipper
and the shipper will be responsible for the transportation charge.
